Anna Segal has been representing Australia on mountains around the world since 2003. Initially Anna experienced success in the Moguls, however it is since her switch to Slopestyle that Anna has catapulted herself into Olympic medal contention.
Since switching from Moguls to Slopestyle, Anna has enjoyed victories on the international circuit beginning with the Women’s US Freeskiing Open in 2007. Anna also took out the inaugural Women’s Ski Slopestyle at Winter X Games in 2009. However it was at the start of 2011 at Deer Valley, USA that Anna cemented herself at the top of Women’s Slopestyle by being crowned World Champion.
The 2011-2012 season saw Anna cement herself at the top of the Women’s Slopestyle, winning first place at the AFP World Championships in Whistler, 2nd place in the Euro X Games 2012 and Winter Dew Tour 2012 , and 3rd Place in the Winter X Games 2012.
With her recent wins and Slopestyle now being a confirmed discipline of skiing to be included in the 2014 Olympic schedule, Anna is in an excellent position to achieve the ultimate success at the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
