JASON KENNY WINS KEIRIN GOLD

Congratulations to ESP’s own Jason Kenny. Kenny, a double Olympic champion has won a thrilling men’s keirin final at the World Track Championships in Belarus.

The 24-year-old edged past Germany’s Maximilian Levy on the final straight to win by 0.047 seconds, with Matthijs Buchli of the Netherlands in third.

Kenny describes the win as “unbelievable” after a “confidence crisis” following problems  in Thursday’s team sprint.
